Protest Bite Ladies Jacket Black

This ski and snowboard jacket is part of our PVRE Green series, a fusion between sustainability and technical mountain clothing. The BITE has been made using recycled polyester, which was created by processing plastic bottles into technical fabric. The zipper pulls are made out of recycled TPU. We have also used an environmentally friendly waterproofing process in the creation of this jacket, instead of using harmful PFC’s. The awesome BITE has a superior level of water resistance and breathability, ideal for longs day in the snow. With 20K water resistance and 20g breathability, water is kept out of the jacket from the outside while moisture that builds up on the inside is allowed to escape. The sleeves are ergonomically shaped for ease of movement. This garment has fully taped seams. This means that all of the seams on the inside of the jacket are sealed using heat. This number tells you how waterproof your garment is. If the fabric is 20k or 20 000 mm, this means you can place a square tube with inner dimensions of 30mm x 30mm over the garment’s outer fabric and you could fill it with water to a height of 20 000 mm before water would begin to seep through. The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
